Hundreds rally in Md. in memory of slain Fla. teen

BALTIMORE - Hundreds of people _ many of them wearing hoodies _ marched through downtown Baltimore's streets to call for justice for a black Florida teenager who police say was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer.

Some of the protesters walking from the Inner Harbor to police headquarters and City Hall during rush hour Monday evening said they were there because they wanted to send a message that it's time for a change. Others in the mostly black crowd said they came out because they felt that what happened to Trayvon Martin could have happened to them or someone they know.

The shooting of Martin has sparked widespread outrage nationwide and calls for the arrest of George Zimmerman, the volunteer who claimed self-defense and hasn't been charged.
