WASHINGTON - The death of a newborn baby after his pregnant mother was stabbed has been ruled a homicide.
D.C. police announced Friday that an autopsy found that the cause of the infant's death was a stab wound to the torso.
Officers called to a home on 9th Street southeast about 2:30 a.m. Thursday found a pregnant woman suffering from a stab wound. Police say there were no apparent signs of forced entry.
The woman, who was eight months pregnant, was taken to a hospital, where her son, Kuron Rashad Hunt, was delivered and later pronounced dead.
