NORFOLK, Va. - A Virginia man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for his role in a gang-related assault that left one person dead and others seriously wounded.
Federal prosecutors say 21-year-old Xavier Rondell Davis II of Norfolk was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk.
Davis previously pleaded guilty in November to one count of murder through the use of a firearm and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in aid racketeering activity.
According to court records, Davis was a member of the Bounty Hunter Bloods and participated in the July 2007 incident.
