Police offer $3K reward for Laurel hit-and-run information

WASHINGTON – Police are offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a driver involved in a hit-and-run in Laurel the put a man in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred Feb. 29 on Route 198 at roughly 2 p.m. A man was walking down the street when a white truck struck him and knocked him about 20 feet.

Police believe a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s was behind the wheel of a white Ford F-250.
