RICHMOND, Va. - Virginia is getting $895,405 in federal funding to preserve historic sites.
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced the grant from the Historic Preservation Fund on Wednesday.
Virginia's grant is among $46.9 million awarded to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories and three affiliated Pacific island states.
