DOSWELL, Va. - Kings Dominion says construction of two new attractions is on schedule and they're expected to be ready for the 2012 season opening on April 6.
The 400-acre theme park in Hanover County is adding a $6.5 million swing ride called WindSeeker and a $1.5 million interactive dinosaur exhibit called Dinosaurs Alive!
Kings Dominion vice president and general manager Pat Jones tells The Richmond Times-Dispatch ( http://bit.ly/Ax6I4G) that the interactive exhibit will have 36 full-size animatronic dinosaurs in a forest setting.
