WASHINGTON (AP) - The District of Columbia is adding 10 new alternative-fuel vehicles to its fleet.
Mayor Vincent Gray will be on hand Tuesday with other local and federal officials at a Department of Public Works facility to announce the purchases. The vehicles include garbage trucks, street sweepers and snowplows.
District officials used federal stimulus funds to acquire the vehicles.
