BEL AIR, Md. - Maryland State Police are investigating a multi-car crash in Harford County that killed three siblings and injured two other people.
Police say 29-year-old David Bauguess, 24-year-old Ashley Bauguess and 17-year-old Joseph Bauguess, all of Fallston, were killed when the Chevrolet Cavalier they were traveling in crashed on Rt. 543 about 10 p.m. Monday.
The Chevrolet crossed a double-yellow line, sideswiped a Toyota and spun into the path of an Acura, splitting the Chevrolet in two.
Two people in the Acura were taken to a hospital, where they were in stable condition.
Police say an internal malfunction started a fire in one of a medevac helicopter's engines as it landed, but the three siblings had already been pronounced dead and the other injured people didn't need to be flown out.
