Kings Dominion gets OK for 24-foot tall T-Rex sign

HANOVER, Va. (AP) - A Tyrannosaurus Rex is coming to Hanover County.
But there's no reason to be alarmed. This T-Rex is made of fiberglass and steel.
Media outlets report that the Hanover County Board of Supervisors has approved a special exception allowing Kings Dominion to put up a 24-foot tall, 59-foot long T-Rex sign along State Route 30.
The three-dimensional sign will promote a new animatronic dinosaur exhibit at the theme park.
