COCKEYSVILLE, Md. - Baltimore County police say a man was killed and four others were injured in a car accident following a Cockeysville robbery.

Police say the driver, 20-year-old Aaron McCoy Jr. of Baltimore, was killed in the crash Tuesday. Police say officers responding to a burglary were given a description of a vehicle that left the scene and police later attempted to pull over a car matching that description but the driver did not comply. A passenger who bailed out of the car was taken into custody minutes before the car collided with two other vehicles and hit a pole.

Police say the passenger, 21-year-old Jenard David Toliver of Baltimore, was ordered held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $500,000 bail and is facing burglary and theft charges.
