VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach officials are looking for ways to improve access to the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
The Virginian-Pilot (VIRGINIA BEACH) reports that City Council approved a $449,000 study on Tuesday. The study will examine transportation options and provide cost estimates. Suggestions include a bike path and an extended tram service.
The Federal Transit Administration paid for the study. It will be managed by the city's parks and recreation department.
