No local stores are listed among the first 79 retail locations Sears Holdings Corp. will close in an effort to reinvigorate its business.
The retailer said Tuesday it will be closing between 100 and 120 stores throughout the country. In the first list of stores to be released, there are three Virginia locations and one in Maryland but none are in the Washington area.
