BATLIMORE - Baltimore fire officials are investigating an overnight fire at a three-story row house that left one person injured.
Fire Chief Kevin Cartwright says firefighters were called about 2:40 a.m. Tuesday to the building on East 25th Street, where the Big Boyz Bail Bonds company is located. Cartwright says the fire was found in the basement and spread through the duct work to the first, second and third floors.
He says one person escaped the building without being injured. A second person was rescued by firefighters and treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
Cartwright says the fire took about an hour to bring under control. Its cause remains under investigation.
