HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - The Hampton Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a storage tank leak that spilled more than 3,000 gallons of motor oil into a drainage ditch.
Hampton Fire-Rescue tells media outlets that hazmat crews contained the spill to about a quarter-mile area.
The leak occurred Sunday at a business in Hampton's Briarfield neighborhood.
The Virginia Department of Emergency Management hired a contractor to clean up the spill.
The cause hasn't been determined.
