WASHINGTON - D.C. police are hunting for clues after a taxi driver was carjacked and seriously injured in Northeast Washington.
The Tuesday night incident occurred about 10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Benning Road.
The Washington Post is reporting http://wapo.st/sPB3aWthat the driver was taken to a hospital, and his cab was found abandoned about 15 minutes after the attack.
The newspaper says details about how the driver was injured haven't been released. There's been no word on any arrests.
