Woman pleads guilty to fatally stabbing student

CUMBERLAND, Md. - A former student at Frostburg State University has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the stabbing of another student outside an off-campus residence.
Twenty-four-year-old Shanee Lynnette Liggins of Waldorf entered the plea Monday in Allegany County Circuit Court. The Times-News of Cumberland) reports that she was ordered to home confinement while a pre-sentencing investigation is conducted.
Nineteen-year-old Kortneigh McCoy of Baltimore died Nov. 6, 2011, of multiple stab wounds. The two women had argued before the stabbing.
