ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Authorities say a boy has been rescued after falling into the water at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis.
Capt. James Rostek of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department says officials were called to the park about 8 a.m. Monday for a child who was missing, possibly in the water. Rostek says the boy had been pulled from the water by the time an emergency crew arrived.
He says the boy, age 5 or 6, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with serious and life-threatening injuries.
