DUBLIN, Va. (AP) - A Norfolk Southern spokesman says a train crew sounded the horn before the train hit and killed a Dublin man.
Robin Chapman says the man apparently didn't look up or didn't notice the train.
Police tell media outlets that James Edward Brown was crossing the tracks in Dublin when he was hit Saturday. He died at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
Chapman says the train was traveling from Louisville, Ky., to Norfolk.
