Daytona qualifying...NBA and top-25 schedules...NBA trade deadline

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- The rest of the field for Sunday's Daytona 500 will be set today. The annual Daytona Duels are set to take place, with the rest of the field, after Danica Patrick and Jeff Gordon, to be determined. Patrick became the first woman to clinch a NASCAR pole last Sunday.

UNDATED (AP) -- It's a light NBA schedule tonight but it's a good one. In the first game, Miami is playing at Chicago, while in the second game two of the top teams in the Western Conference are squaring off in L.A. as the Clippers entertain the Spurs. The four clubs have racked up four of the best overall records in the league this year.

UNDATED (AP) -- Just two games are on the top-25 schedule this evening. No. 6 Duke is the highest ranked school in action as the Blue Devils are on the road for a game at Virginia Tech. The second contest has 23rd-ranked Oregon playing at home to California.

UNDATED (AP) -- The NBA trade deadline is this afternoon. There has been the usual speculation of deals, but as the 3 p.m. deadline approaches we should learn more about what deals will actually take place.
