–Kirk Cousins, Redskins, replaced the injured Robert Griffin III and finished 22 for 33 for 250 yards and two touchdown passes in Washington’s 41-10 victory over Jacksonville.

–Aaron Rodgers, Packers, was 24 for 41 for 331 yards and three touchdown passes in Green Bay’s 31-24 win over the New York Jets. Rodgers has 24,732 yards passing and surpassed Pro Hall of Famer Bart Starr (24,718) for the second-most yards passing in franchise history. Brett Favre is first with 61,655 yards.

–Philip Rivers, Chargers, was 28 for 37 for 284 yards and three touchdown passes in San Diego’s 30-21 win over Seattle.

–Jay Cutler, Bears, threw three fourth-quarter touchdowns in Chicago’s 28-20 win over San Francisco.

–Peyton Manning, Broncos, was 21 for 26 for 242 yards and three touchdown passes in Denver’s 24-17 win over Kansas City.

–Cam Newton, Panthers was 22 for 34 for 281 yards and a touchdown pass in Carolina’s 24-7 win over Detroit.

–DeMarco Murray, Cowboys, had 29 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown in Dallas’ 26-10 win over Tennessee.

–Bobby Rainey, Buccaneers, had 22 carries for 144 yards in Tampa Bay’s 19-17 loss to St. Louis.

–Arian Foster, Texans, had 28 carries for 138 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s 30-14 win over Oakland.

–Stevan Ridley, Patriots, had 25 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown in New England’s 30-7 win over Minnesota.

–Alfred Morris, Redskins, had 22 carries for 85 yards and two touchdowns in Washington’s 41-10 victory over Jacksonville.

–Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill, Bengals. Bernard had 27 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown, and Hill added 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 24-10 win over Atlanta.

Receiving

–Jordy Nelson, Packers, had nine catches for 209 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown, in Green Bay’s 31-24 win over the New York Jets. Nelson’s 209 yards receiving are the most by a Packer in a non-overtime game since Billy Howton had 257 yards on Oct. 21, 1956.

–Antonio Gates, Chargers, had seven catches for 96 yards and three touchdowns in San Diego’s 30-21 win over Seattle. Gates has 90 career touchdown receptions and surpassed Larry Fitzgerald (87) and Hall of Famers Andre Reed (87) and Don Maynard (88) for No. 11 all-time. He ranks second all-time among tight ends (Tony Gonzalez, 111).

–Delanie Walker, Titans, had 10 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee’s 26-10 loss to Dallas.

–Jimmy Graham, Saints, had 10 catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in New Orleans’ 26-24 loss to Cleveland.

–Sammy Watkins, Bills, had eight receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s 29-10 win over Miami.

–Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos, had eight catches for 108 yards in Denver’s 24-17 win over Kansas City.

–Dez Bryant, Cowboys, made 10 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown in Dallas’ 26-10 win over Tennessee. Bryant has 307 catches in 61 games. He reached 300 catches in the fewest games in franchise history.

–Defensive end J.J. Watt, Texans, caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick in Houston’s 30-14 win over Oakland.

–Brandon Marshall, Bears, had five catches, including three touchdowns, to lead Chicago to a 28-20 win over San Francisco.

Special Teams

–C.J. Spiller and Dan Carpenter, Bills. Spiller returned a kickoff 102 yards for a touchdown, Carpenter was 5 for 6 on field goals in Buffalo’s 29-10 win over Miami. Spiller is the first player since 1973 to have at least a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and at least a 45-yard run in the same game. Houston Oilers running back Bob Gresham had a 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 52-yard run against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 23, 1973.

–Ted Ginn Jr., Cardinals, returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown in Arizona’s 25-14 win over the New York Giants.

–Chandler Jones, Patriots, returned a blocked field goal 58 yards for a touchdown in New England’s 30-7 win over Minnesota. Jones also had two sacks.

Defense

–Tashaun Gipson, Browns, returned an interception 62 yards for a touchdown in Cleveland’s 26-24 win over New Orleans.

–Ryan Kerrigan, Redskins, had four sacks of Washington’s 10 sacks in a 41-10 win over Jacksonville.

–Thomas Davis, Panthers, was in on 12 tackles in a 24-7 defeat of Detroit.

MILESTONES

With the Patriots’ 30-7 victory at Minnesota, quarterback Tom Brady earned his 149th win, surpassing Hall of Famer John Elway (148) for the third-most victories by a starting quarterback in NFL history. Brady has a 149-46 (.764) record as a starter. … New England’s Bill Belichick became the sixth head coach in NFL history to reach 200 regular-season wins. Belichick has a 200-106 (.654) record in the regular season. … Saints quarterback Drew Brees moved past Elway into fourth place on the NFL’s career passing list. … The Arizona Cardinals outscored the New York Giants 15-0 in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals improved to 2-0 with a 25-14 come-from-behind win. Arizona, which outscored San Diego 12-0 in the fourth quarter of the Cardinals’ 18-17 Week 1 victory, is the first team since 1982 (Green Bay) to start 2-0 after trailing entering the fourth quarter in both games and not allowing a single fourth-quarter point.

STREAKS & STATS

The Browns snapped a nine-game losing streak in home openers with a 26-24 win over New Orleans. The Saints dropped their fifth straight regular-season road game. … Buffalo is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2011. The Dolphins have lost three straight to Buffalo, their longest losing streak since going 0-4 from 2006-07. … The Bengals matched the club record with their 10th straight home victory in the regular season and improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2006. … The Texans have started 2-0 for five straight seasons.

SIDELINED

Robert Griffin III, Jamaal Charles, DeSean Jackson, A.J. Green and Knowshon Moreno all left their games on a busy Sunday for team trainers and medical staffs. Griffin dislocated his left ankle in the first quarter of Washington’s 41-10 victory over Jacksonville, putting his season in jeopardy. The Redskins quarterback was scheduled for X-rays and an MRI to determine more about the injury. He and coach Jay Gruden did not offer a timetable for a return, but the injury typically sidelines NFL players for at least two months. Jackson also left the game shortly after he sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder in the first quarter. He hoped to be able to play next week against Philadelphia, his former club. … Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis was carted off after leaving with a high left ankle sprain. Rookie receiver Allen Hurns injured his left ankle and was scheduled for X-rays. … In Denver, Charles left with a left ankle injury after being brought down in the first quarter against the Broncos, and would not return. Charles was stopped on a run up the middle by Broncos safety T.J. Ward and then hobbled to the bench. … Green aggravated an injured toe during the Cincinnati Bengals’ opening series and sat out the rest of the game, a 24-10 win over Atlanta. The Bengals lost four more players: Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict (pinched nerve in his neck), defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (left knee), tight end Alex Smith (left biceps) and right guard Kevin Zeitler (right calf). … At Orchard Park, New York, Moreno didn’t return after injuring his left elbow 11 minutes into Miami’s 29-10 loss to the Bills. He was hurt on his first carry, a 4-yard gain, when he was initially hit on the right side by Nickell Robey, and Nigel Bradham then struck him from the left, hitting him directly in the arm.
