Where to watch the Redskins game

WASHINGTON – It’s a big week in Washington and if they don’t have plans yet, Redskins fans are deciding where to watch the NFC East playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The game starts at 4:30 p.m. Sunday but most bars offering specials that day are open long before that, hoping you’ll stop by and have a few … burgers … before kickoff.

Each bar opens at 11 a.m. if not specified otherwise.

This game could top the last game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Redskins’ victory over Dallas was the highest-rated “Sunday Night Football” game since NBC picked up the package in 2006.

Washington won the regular-season finale 28-18 to clinch the NFC East and eliminate archrival Dallas from playoff contention. The network said Thursday that the game received a 17 rating and 27 share. The 30.3 million viewers were up 10 percent from the previous record for last year’s Cowboys-Giants game in the same slot with the same stakes, which wasn’t as close.
