WASHINGTON - Redskins fans in Washington are talking about a new Adidas shoe commercial campaign featuring the team's stand-out quarterback, Robert Griffin III.
In one video, fans can see Griffin going through intense training. In the other, he's trying to get in the head of his opponent.
Griffin has yet to sign a four-year contract with the team worth about $21 million, roughly two-thirds of which would be the signing bonus. The hang-up apparently is "offset" language that would govern the guaranteed money in the event Griffin is waived before the contract's expiration.
