Johnson inactive for Lions against Saints

DETROIT (AP) — Calvin Johnson will miss a second straight game for the Detroit Lions because of an ankle injury.

The star receiver is inactive for Sunday’s game against New Orleans.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (shoulder) and Mark Ingram (hand) are both active.

Detroit’s other inactives are tight ends Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria, quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Theo Riddick, tackle Garrett Reynolds and defensive end Larry Webster.

Inactive for New Orleans are wide receivers Joseph Morgan and Nick Toon, cornerback Patrick Robinson, fullback Erik Lorig, linebackers Raymond Humber and Kyle Knox, and defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick.

Johnson has never missed more than two games in a season. He has 22 catches for 348 yards and two touchdowns in 2014.
