Jets’ Nelson, Pryor leave with injuries vs. Lions

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets wide receiver David Nelson and safety Calvin Pryor left the game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday with injuries.

Nelson and Pryor were both ruled out by the Jets for the rest of the game in the second half.

Nelson hurt his left ankle on a 7-yard catch in the second quarter. He limped to the sideline and was taken to the locker room.

Pryor injured his left thigh after combining with Muhammad Wilkerson on a sack of Matthew Stafford in the second quarter. He dropped to a knee as he reached the sideline and trainers massaged his leg before taking him to the locker room.

Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson is playing, but has been in and out of the game for the Lions after being questionable with an ankle injury. He has one catch for 6 yards.
