ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Leodis McKelvin returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown, and the Buffalo Bills' offense did just enough to beat the Miami Dolphins 19-14 in an AFC East battle in western New York. Both teams are 4-6.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has been sent to the hospital for a "minor procedure" after doctors discovered he had an irregular heartbeat. The Niners say they expect their coach will be back at the team's practice facility on Friday.

NEW YORK (AP) -- San Francisco's Buster Posey and Detroit's Miguel Cabrera were runaway winners in the National and American Leagues' Most Valuable Player award balloting. Posey won for the second time in three years while Cabrera is baseball's first Triple Crown winner in 45 years.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Raymond Felton scored 25 points and the New York Knicks stayed undefeated by rallying to beat the San Antonio Spurs 104-100 in Texas. J.R. Smith added 17 points, Jason Kidd had 14 and Tyson Chandler 13 for the 6-0 Knicks, who closed on a 22-11 run to remain the NBA's lone unbeaten team.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- -- Mike D'Antoni (dan-TOH'-nee), on crutches because of recent knee surgery, conducted his first practice while his Los Angeles Lakers went through drills orchestrated by his assistant coach and brother, Dan. D'Antoni is expected to make his sideline debut with the Lakers Sunday night against Houston.
