NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Denver Broncos by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
___
DENVER BRONCOS (5)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 7) -- "Easy" wins always the hardest.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 3) -- If Knowshon Moreno is consistent, that will be a huge lift for the offense.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 5)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 3) -- This Manning machine keeps picking up steam each week.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 7) -- Six straight for Denver, although Peyton Manning had to overcome some early struggles before putting away the Chiefs. It would take a colossal collapse for the Broncos not to win the division.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 5) -- The Broncos have a league-best six-game winning streak and their defense has stockpiled 23 sacks during that stretch. That's more sacks than eight NFL teams have for the entire season.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 5) -- They're hot, they're balanced and they have Peyton Manning. What's not to like?
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 6) -- Look past Peyton Manning for a moment and check out this killer defense.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 5) -- The Broncos looked sluggish on offense against Kansas City, but they got a win and the defense is better than some of the other teams in this area of the power rankings.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 5) -- The Broncos weren't as sharp as they have been, but Kansas City has always been a tough place for the Broncos. They move to 8-3 and host the Bucs on Sunday.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 4) -- Good teams still manage to win even when playing down to the level of inferior opposition -- ergo last Sunday's 17-9 stinker over Kansas City.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 4) -- Yes, they can win a defensive struggle, too. Look out for the Broncos.
