NFL Forecasts: Week 5

WASHINGTON — After a strong cold front passes through the region on Saturday morning along the east coast, it is going to definitely feel more like football weather as high pressure builds in across the eastern part of the United States. It will be quite the opposite along the west coast as very warm conditions settle in. Either way, we are still looking at dry and quiet conditions for your NFL Sunday.

1:00 p.m. EST

Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers:

Bank of America Stadium: Pretty cool in Charlotte with temperatures only hanging in the lower 60s for much of the game. Winds will be southwest at 5-10 mph with plenty of sunshine around.

Cleveland Browns at Tennessee Titans: LP Field: Nashville will start with sunshine but a few clouds will build in during the mid-afternoon hours so we are looking at partly cloudy conditions through much of the game. Still dry, however, and temperatures will be slightly warmer than the past few days on Sunday, topping out around 70 for the duration of the game. Winds will be a bit on the breezy side, southwest at 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

St. Louis Rams at Philadelphia Eagles: “The Linc” Lincoln Financial Field: Much cooler in Philly with temperatures hanging in the upper 50s. There will be plenty of sunshine throughout the game with winds west at 5-10 mph.

Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants: MetLife Stadium: Another game with just a slight wind factor. Winds will be southwest at 10 mph through much of the game. Expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures right around 60 degrees.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars: EverBank Stadium: Much cooler in Jacksonville with temperatures only in the lower to mid-70s. No chance of rain as the forecast looks dry with all sunshine. Winds will be pushing out of the north at 5-10 mph.

4:05 p.m. EST

Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos:

Sports Authority at Mile High: Still looking at a sunny forecast with very comfortable conditions. Temperatures will be in the lower 70s with all sunshine expected.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers: Levi’s Stadium: Cooling down just slightly after the past few days after topped out in the 80s/90s for the Bay area. Temperatures will rise through the mid and upper 70s during the game with a light wind west at 5 mph. All sunshine expected once again.

New York Jets at San Diego Chargers: Qualcomm Stadium: Whew — it is going to be hot in downtown San Diego. Temperatures during the game will rise into the mid to upper 80s. Keeping the sunshine around with west winds at 5-10 mph.

8:30 p.m. EST

Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots:

Gillette Stadium: Maybe pack up the parkas? Temperatures will begin around 50 degrees at kickoff and fall into the mid to upper 40s by the 4th quarter. Clear skies and light winds will help lend to the cool conditions. Sunset is at 6:24 in Foxboro, Massachusetts with a light SW wind at 5 mph.
