Wild Card: The lay of the land for Redskins tickets

WASHINGTON – The last two times the Washington Redskins made it to the playoffs, the Seahawks knocked them out in games played in Seattle.

But the NFC wild-card game Sunday gives the Redskins a home-field advantage at FedEx Field.

As of early Monday morning, there were still plenty of tickets. The least-expensive tickets were for standing-room only (SRO) in the upper decks.

Two tickets in section 437 were in the $345 range at both StubHub and GreatSeats, including service and delivery fees.

Vivid Seats offers the same deal for about $50 less, at $295.51.

The official Washington Redskins website offers two standing-room only tickets for $368.35, including fees, through the NFL ticket exchange.

To sit down in an actual seat in Section 450, Row 23, for example, the team’s ticket exchange website offers two seats for $402.85 after service charges.

There are numerous transportation options to get to FedEx Field. Parking passes tend to cost $60-$166.

Some sellers offer passes for what might seem like exorbitant prices. As game time gets closer though, ticket turnover websites such as StubHub may find buyers for parking passes that are currently offered for as much as $600.

Upon finding a $600 parking pass in Platinum Lot F, WTOP staffer Tommy Griffiths exclaimed that for that price, “They better buff my shoes and feed me grapes while I’m parking.”

Game time next Sunday is 4:20 p.m. It will be broadcast on Fox5.
