HARRISONBURG, Va. - Freshman Andre Nation paced James Madison with 14 points and seven rebounds as the Dukes downed Old Dominion 56-46 Saturday in Colonial Athletic Association action.
Nation hit 4 of 9 from the field and 6 of 7 at the foul line for James Madison (11-10, 5-3), which has now won five straight home games.
With the win, the Dukes swept the season series after beating Old Dominion 58-55 on Jan. 2.
Ron Curry added 12 points and Devon Moore 10 for James Madison.
The Dukes' leading scorer, Rayshawn Goins, hit just 2 of 7 from the field en route to four points, tying his season low. The senior is averaging 14.4 points per game this year, but has managed just 7.7 per contest in his last three games.
Keenan Palmore led Old Dominion (2-17, 0-7) with 13 points off the bench. DeShawn Painter had nine points and nine rebounds.
