School bus comes in contact with low-hanging wire

WASHINGTON – Children on a Fairfax County Public School bus are safe and at school after their bus came in contact with a low-hanging wire.

The school system says bus 1411 came in contact with the wire around 8:15 a.m. in the 7100 block of Enterprise Avenue in McLean, Va.

At the time, the bus was taking children to Kent Gardens Elementary School.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says the wire turned out to be a cable wire.

Another bus ended up taking the children to school.
