SEATTLE (AP) - The Seattle School District has agreed to pay $750,000 to settle a lawsuit with a teacher who was fired for not working in a building she said was harming her health.

Denise Frisino says the district discriminated against her by not accommodating her health needs. She said mold at Nathan Hale High School made her sick.

District spokeswoman Teresa Wippel told The Seattle Times ( http://is.gd/uQ9Xmw) the district spent a significant amount of money over three years on building changes.

The district decided to settle after an appeals court said the case could go to trial.
