SEATTLE (AP) - Both candidates for Washington governor plan to speak Friday at the annual conference of the Washington State School Directors' Association in Seattle.
Former congressman Jay Inslee and Attorney General Rob McKenna will speak and answer questions from elected school board members from across the state late in the afternoon.
The candidates' forum is part the first day of the two-day meeting. Other activities on Friday include a legislative panel on education spending and a presentation by Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn.
