ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - A college that provides medical and health care training has closed all of its campuses in Northern Virginia.
ACT College has operated in the area for nearly 30 years and had campuses in Arlington, Alexandria and Manassas. A message posted on the school's website Wednesday says the college "has been forced to close its doors." No further explanation was given for the closure.
The school says it will try to provide information to help students complete their study programs.
Teacher Amarrah Stanley says she hadn't been paid for her work in a month.
A phone message seeking comment from the school was not immediately returned.
