D.C. cemetery employing goat cleaning crew

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Washington's Historic Congressional Cemetery is employing a heard of goats to clean up the cemetery.

The cemetery says 100 goats will graze at the cemetery 24 hours a day for six days starting Aug. 7. The cemetery says they'll eliminate vines, poison ivy and ground cover while "fertilizing the ground."

The cemetery was founded in the early 1800s and covers 35 acres on Capitol Hill. The thousands of people buried at the cemetery including a number of former senators and members of the House.
