WHITE MARSH, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County police say an officer fatally shot a man during a confrontation in White Marsh after the suspect fled from a crashed car that had been reported as stolen from Baltimore city.
Police say two other men were arrested after they, too, bailed out of the car early Tuesday in a residential neighborhood.
The agency says the shooting followed a brief chase that began when officers tried to stop the car on Philadelphia Road at about 12:30 a.m.
Police say the driver rammed the patrol car and took off. The chase ended when the driver crashed into a parked car on Madge Court, and all three men ran into a wooded area.
