PARIS (AP) -- Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Paris for a hastily arranged meeting with his Russian counterpart on the Ukraine crisis.
Kerry was flying home from Saudi Arabia today when he decided to head to Paris instead for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov (SEHR'-gay LAHV'-rahf).
The State Department says the two plan to meet tomorrow at the Russian ambassador's residence. The change follows a phone conversation yesterday between President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two agreed to have their foreign ministers meet to discuss a possible diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine situation.
