WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Democratic National Committee says President Barack Obama will speak at its winter meeting in Washington later this month.
Obama will address DNC members during the general session of the party's annual winter meeting. Members will be discussing party business, including congressional and governors' elections in November.
Obama has held several meetings with elected Democrats anxious about party fortunes in November. Already this month, the president mingled with the House Democratic caucus at a White House reception and addressed Senate Democrats during a retreat they held at the Washington Nationals' baseball stadium.
On Friday, Obama will meet again with House Democrats at a meeting they are holding on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
