PORRLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Nike Hoop Summit, an annual game between the nation's top high school seniors and young international players, is set for Portland's Moda Center on April 12.
Portland has hosted the exhibition each year since 2008. Players who have appeared in the event as youngsters include Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Dirk Nowitzki and Tony Parker.
The U.S. team, selected by the USA Basketball Men's Developmental National Team Committee, is expected to be announced later this month. The United States lost the past two Hoop Summits to the international squad.
The U.S. team fell 112-98 last year, despite 22 points and seven rebounds from Jabari Parker, who went on to play at Duke. Jean-Charles Livio of France had 27 points and 13 rebounds for the World team.
