ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Republican Larry Hogan says he plans to formally enter the Maryland governor's race later this month.
The Washington Post reports (http://wapo.st/1aaJ0gr ) that Hogan plans to launch his campaign at an Annapolis crab house on Jan. 21.
The 57-year-old Hogan is an Anne Arundel County real estate broker who served as appointments secretary under former Republican governor Robert Ehrlich. He currently leads Change Maryland, a government watchdog group.
He'll join a Republican field that includes Harford County Executive David R. Craig, Del. Ronald George and Charles County businessman Charles Lollar.
Hogan says he hasn't yet selected a running mate.
