WASHINGTON (AP) -- Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer is scheduled to testify in support of bringing the FBI's headquarters to Prince George's County.
Hoyer, a Democrat, is set to testify before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management on Wednesday in Washington.
Prince George's County officials have touted an area next to the Greenbelt Metro station as a potential site.
The FBI is looking for an alternative site for its headquarters, which is now on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington.
