Legendary actor, Clint Eastwood, to speak at RNC

WASHINGTON - A Hollywood legend will take the stage at the GOP convention on Thursday night to voice his support for presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Clint Eastwood, who endorsed Romney in early August, will speak before Romney's prime-time speech, which puts an end to speculation over the "To Be Announced" slot listed in the official RNC schedule, POLITICO reports.
Originally, Eastwood told Fox News he wasn't supporting any politician. In August, however, the iconic actor announced his support for the candidate at a fundraiser in Idaho.
"Now more than ever do we need Gov. Romney. I'm going to be voting for him," he said.
Eastwood said he first saw political advertisements about Romney nearly a decade ago when he was filming "Mystic River" in Boston when Romney was running for governor.
"I said, God, this guy, he's too handsome to be governor, but he does look like he could be president," Eastwood joked. "As the years have gone by I began to think even more so about that."
Romney has also earned the support of Oscar winning actor Jon Voight and rock star Kid Rock.
