Raccoon in York County tests positive for rabies

YORKTOWN, Va. (AP) — York County officials have issued a health warning to some residents after a raccoon tested positive for rabies.

WAVY-TV (http://bit.ly/1xoIynP) reports the rabid raccoon was found recently in the Seaford area.

Residents who were exposed to the animal are being asked to contact the York County Health Department or Animal Control offices.
