WASHINGTON - Break out the tissues. For four million allergy sufferers, it's officially allergy season -- and USA TODAY reports this year's season could be the worst one yet.

Those who suffer from allergies should clean air-conditioning filters regularly, keep car and house windows closed and take frequent showers to keep suffering to a minimum.
Find out more about this year's high pollen counts and a phenomenon known as priming in the video on USA TODAY's website.
