ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley is highlighting the role biotechnology plans in Maryland's economy.
The governor has scheduled a trip to the University of Maryland's BioPark in Baltimore on Wednesday.
The O'Malley administration says 600 people work in 30 companies at the University of Maryland BioPark. They work on finding cures for diseases like cancer, malaria and diabetes.
