WASHINGTON - A technical hiccup is interrupting service on GoDaddy, the world's biggest domain registrar.
The dot com is down, as are websites hosted by it.
"The more problematic part is that any domain registered with GoDaddy that uses its nameservers and DNS records are also down," Mashable reports.
Celebrity hacker Anonymous has tweeted support for the attack, which is allegedly the work of Anonymous Own3r.
In a Tweet, GoDaddy says it is working to restore service:
Status Alert: Hey, all. We're aware of the trouble people are having with our site. We're working on it.
