PULASKI, Va. (AP) -- A metal stamping company that serves the automotive, trucking and other markets is planning to open a facility in Pulaski, creating 112 jobs.
Gov. Bob McDonnell said Thursday that Falls Stamping & Welding Co. will invest $5.7 million for the operation.
Officials say the company will supply metal sub-assemblies to the Volvo Trucks plant in Dublin.
McDonnell approved a $175,000 grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund for the project. The company also is eligible to receive state benefits from the Virginia Enterprise Zone Program, which is administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development.
