WASHINGTON - Gas prices across the region keep soaring. For regular unleaded, prices shot up another 9 cents a gallon in the last week, according to WTOP's latest Price at the Pump survey.
That increase comes after an 10-cent hike a week earlier.
The average for a gallon of unleaded regular is now $3.91 a gallon. Mid-grade is up 7 cents to $4.09 a gallon. Premium rose 10 cents to $4.22 a gallon. Diesel is up 8 cents to $4.16 a gallon.
On Feb. 24, 2011, a gallon of regular unleaded was $3.22 a gallon.
