Mindspeed Technologies Beats on Both Top and Bottom Lines

Mindspeed Technologies reported earnings on Jan. 28. Here are the numbers you need to know.

For the quarter ended Dec. 28 (Q1), Mindspeed Technologies beat expectations on revenues and beat expectations on earnings per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 66.0%, 790 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.2%, 2,520 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 2.4%, 1,890 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $37.9 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is -$0.01.
