Malaysian prime minister in Netherlands

AMSTERDAM (AP) — Malaysia’s prime minister has arrived in the Netherlands ahead of a meeting with his Dutch counterpart to discuss plans for repatriating remains of Malaysian victims of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, and continuing problems accessing the crash site in eastern Ukraine.

Najib Razak is meeting with Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte Wednesday in The Hague before traveling to a military base in Hilversum, outside Amsterdam, where remains of more than 200 victims are being painstakingly identified.

The plane was shot down on July 17, killing all 298 passengers and crew, including 43 Malaysians and 195 Dutch. Some bodies have yet to be recovered at the crash site, which has been inaccessible to investigators for days due to fighting between the Ukrainian army and pro-Russia separatists.
