COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- In a Feb. 5 story about a shooting incident in Denmark, The Associated Press reported that the writer who was targeted, Lars Hedegaard, was convicted of hate speech in 2011 and fined 5,000 kroner ($1,000). The story failed to mention that Hedegaard appealed that ruling and was acquitted by Denmark's Supreme Court in 2012.
